Ancient settlement is a place where people of the Stone Age used to live. A settlement could be used just for one stay, as well as for a longer period of time.
Ancient settlement at Park of History Sula tells a story of prehistoric times and of how our ancestors used to live. Installation gives us a full picture of how they lived, procuring food, making shelters and clothing from animal skin, and huts from branches and cane.
At the settlement site, everyone can try on a cave man image – to walk into a hut or to get warm by the fire. Just imagine how primitive the daily life of our ancestors was, but how much work and effort it took them to set it up.
Opposite the settlement, there are megalithic structures – from the simplest one, a menhir ('tall stone') to the most complex dolmen ('table stone').
